How does the service work?
We Clean Your Bins On the Same Day as your regaular scheduled trash day, after the waste collection vehicle has emptied your bins. By doing this, it allows the trash companies to do their job effectively even if they have hiccups throughout their day. We send you a confirmation message after we have cleaned the bin.
Do I need to do anything for you to clean my bins?
Yes. We cannot clean a bin that has materials (garbage, recyclables, or food organics) in it; our cleanings are done on your regular collection day after the city has been by to collect your waste. We ask you to please leave your bins at the curb on your regular collection day until after 7pm or until they have been cleaned. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
Do you clean the outside of my bins?
Yes. Bin Wash Co. cleans both the inside and outside of your bins.
How will I know that my bins have been cleaned?
In addition to your bins being completely spotless, we apply a barcode sticker to your bin and scan it to send you a confirmation message.
What makes Bin Wash Co. environmentally wise?
We use only environmentally wise cleaning products and with our water recycling and filtration system, we save one hundreds of thousands of litres of water considering most people use their cold water hose to clean their bins and the water is flushed into the storm water only drain system. Soap and bleach water run-off causes harm to thestormwater system and environment.
Does Bin Wash Co. use recycled water?
No. Bin Wash Co. uses fresh water to clean your bins, but we do reclaim all water and filter it through an eleven-stage system to meet the requirements of local disposal to sanitary sewer by-laws.
How do you save water?
Our specialized mobile cleaning trailer and water recovery system is able to clean your bin with four litres of water. The average person using a hand-held hose uses just over 100 litres of water to clean just one bin.
Does Bin Wash Co. operate year-round?
No. Our operating season is from April to October when it is generally above freezing and the climate allows for bacteria and odors to thrive. It is also difficult to wash bins in freezing conditions. However, we are able to clean commercial bins inside warehouses all year round.
I am a resident what service plans do you offer? Which should I choose?
We offer four different service plans, it really depends on what best fits your families or business’ needs.
Usually clients choose a plan that includes having the green bin cleaned every visit and add the garbage or recycling cart because the second bin is cleaned and deodorized at a discounted price.

One Time Plan
This plan is perfect for the consumer that is looking to try out our service with no commitment. 80% of the customers that use this plan come back for the monthly plan. If you just had a crawfish boil, bag leak, or you are just ready for a clean bin, you can start with this plan and put our service to the test.
I didn’t get an Hotmail our Outlook email about my order or service!
Hotmail (and Outlook.com) have very stringent spam blocking tactics that sometimes block our emails containing, an order receipt and cleaning reminders from Binwashco. To solve this problem, please add the “binwashco.ca” domain to your safe sender list by logging into Outlook.com and following these steps:

email with your question and we will get back to you within 24 hours.
What If I am out of town?
If you are out of town, on vacation, or there is another reason preventing you from having your trash cans available for us to clean, please give us as much notice as possible to allow us to reschedule.
If we have no notice, and your trash can(s) are not available for cleaning on the scheduled service day, you will still be charged for that month’s trash can cleaning service.
Do you have a referral program?
