GARBAGE CHUTES

When residents of a building discard their waste into the garbage chute and down into the garbage room, bags have a tendency to rip open. When this happens, any wet garbage may stick to the walls and compactor and then dry garbage will then stick to the wet garbage.

With the Garbage occurring up draft, this causes unhealthy odors and bacteria from inside the chute walls to become airborne. Subsequently, these airborne odors enter public spaces as residents open the chute doors to dispose of their trash.

Cleaning of your chute not only provides a clean and safe building but also greatly stops the risk of a fire generating from the garbage chute room and traveling up the chute to each floor.
